Milan – the worlds fashion hub is not without an extremely colorful nighttime. Going out at night in Milan entails a lot more than simple dinner as Milan offers a wide range of clubs, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, cafes, bistros, wine cellars, wine bars and lounge bars some of which have nice live local jazz bands. The night scene is vibrant and massive and changes over time. The clubs are furnished with a savannah theme, Japanese or Asian themes in mind. The opera or cinemas are also another way of whiling the night away in Milan. The La Scala is also a must visit although the tickets are usually in high demand. During the summer there are recitals, ballets, concerts and opera. There’s also a wide choice of theatre in Milan though some only specialize in showing theatre in their original language. The cinema nel Parco has outdoor showings of recent films between June and August. The Navigli and Porta Ticinese areas have a large assortment of bars, beer halls, sandwich bars, clubs and pubs. The Brera area is on the contrary endowed with art galleries, restaurants and small clubs. It’s also cleaner, safer and tranquil.
